What is Eye of Africa?

Eye of Africa is a masterplanned residential community delivered by Medallist, an international developer of award winning masterplanned communities and Pixley World Investments based in South Africa. Eye of Africa is conveniently located 17km south of Johannesburg’s CBD. Eye of Africa will comprise of 1200 free-hold stands (Res. 1), 900 Sectional Title units (Res. 3), set around an 18 hole Greg Norman designed championship golf course. Eye of Africa may include separate areas currently zoned for other commercial developments.

Who are the developers of Eye of Africa?

Eye of Africa is a premier development created by Medallist Developments SA and Pixley World Investments.

What are the recreation facilities within Eye of Africa?

Eye of Africa's community includes a Greg Norman-designed championship golf course, The Golf & Leisure Club as well as other proposed facilities including a community centre with social club, lagoon pool, spa, tennis courts, kids club, sports field, walking trails and outdoor recreational facilities.

Eye of Africa's golf course?

Eye of Africa has officially opened the first Greg Norman golf course in Africa. Designed exclusively by Greg Norman Golf Course Design, the championship golf course is the talking point amongst Johannesburg's golfers. The design weaves up and down rolling terrain, is played as a continuous loop and encompasses an overall distance of 6,895 meters. Will there be retail shops at Eye of Africa?

There are areas that are zoned for commercial and retail rights. The Developer has the opportunity to develop retail shops within the project; however, a final determination has not been made in this regard.

What shopping centres and schools are in the area?

Southgate Shopping Centre (10 minutes drive) and The Glen Shopping Centre (15 minutes drive) are the main shopping centres in the area. Primary Schools and High Schools do exist in the immediate area with Waterstone College located within 10 minutes drive from Eye of Africa. www.waterstonecollege.co.za. What is the security implemented at the estate?

The developer knows that security is a top priority, and therefore Eye of Africa boasts a state-of-the-art 24 hour security system that includes perimeter fences with mobile patrols, perimeter motion detection system (Intelligent Security Information System ISIS), security cameras, entry guards and internal response units.

What are the Eye of Africa Levies?

The estate levies are R950 per month. The levies contribute towards environmental & landscape maintenance, estate security, road maintenance, golf course maintenance, HOA accounting and management fees.
